Where have I been in June

I began June with a Nascar Race on June 6th at Delaware Speedway. I was taking photo for Inside Track Motorsport News; and I used to do work for them. Right now, I'm just doing one assignment....

I took pictures of the people at the track, all of whom I know. DJ Kennington won the race. Many years ago DJ, who lived near Delaware track, started running there when he was 16 years old. He's now 32. This is him on a cell phone wearing his Castrol suit. He was driving the green #17 machine that's going through tech at the top of the page.

Take a Train to Ottawa.......

Yes, I was in Ottawa. I took a train and I went to go see Ottawa. It was so much fun. I looked out the window and, from my Westin Hotel, I could see the Parliament Buildings.

I went to see the grounds at the Parliament Buildings and discovered cats and a squirrel in the back of the grounds.

The sculptures were unique and the pillars too.

I wandered along going to the Rideau Centre and to By Ward Market. They're lots of things to do.

It was one of the days that the Sri Lankans were here. It was chaotic and difficult.

But I went along and took pictures as usual...............

Las Vegas

Las Vegas is not like other cities. Chicago, Los Angeles, Colorado and Tampa all have the same ring about them.... and Las Vegas is not like them. The tourists haven't spoiled the "real city" - it is not a "real city" - it is more the Disney World of the adult world. Lots of gaming, pubing, entertainment and high tech attractions for adults. You rapidly lose your sense of time since it's windowless and clockfree.

For six decades, Las Vegas has been shimmering from the desert haze of the Nevada desert. Being out in Las Vegas will be sure to win your interest.

The Calendar Is Here!

Creating a calendar was great. I had the selection of different pictures which gave me the chance to choose my favorite photos. It was hard to select just twelve.

The calendar goes from April 09 to March 10.

I think I might attempt to make one from September 2009 through to December 20. I have lots of photos that I might use.

I Have Been Travelling Again....

Since June 08, I have been tavelling to Halifax, Paris, Peterborough, Saskatoon and Winnipeg. And I've had such a good time. First was Saskatoon (lots of pictures) and then Winnipeg (photos taken at a birthday party).

Halifax was next. Going to Antigonish, Nova Scotia to take photos of the Nascar race at Riverside Speedway was wonderful. I went up to Cape George shooting boats, lobster traps and a lighthouse.

Then I went to Peterborough for the Nascar race (Kawartha Speedway).

France was next. Just to the south of Paris is St. Gervais-la-foret and here is where the racecars go. Next we traveled to Paris and I took a lot of photos in the four days that we were there.

Well...It's Spring...

It's beautiful today! And all the project I've been up to have been to are wonderful.

It began in the middle of March (14, 15, 16) with "Racing Experience" held at London Convention Centre.

I am after that I went to London Chamber of Commerce's "Speed Networking" (March 25) and Bell Comedy Auction (April 26).

In addition to that, I went for Practice and the first Delaware Opening for all the motorsports cars.... http://www.mccollracing.com/ ... I do the website for news and photos.

The CPT Racing Experience will be coming in March 15-16 2008 the the London Convention Centre in London Ontario. I have been able to be the photographer - all the exciting events to introduce it.

And just for fun, I'm starting with the Greek Isles. They were begun by a boat, a 3 day excursion, with a visit to all the islands - Mykonos, Rhodes, Patmos and a trip into Turkey, Kusadasi.

Mykonos was an evening trip and, given that it gets dark at 5:00 or 6:00, not much was done here.

Rhode's was the nicest place and we spent all day there. Rhodes
is on the Greece/Turkey border. The Italians own the place from
1850's and they build a summer home for Mussolini and Victor Emmanuel 111. It is called The Palace of the Grand Master.
