And just for fun, I'm starting with the Greek Isles. They were begun by a boat, a 3 day excursion, with a visit to all the islands - Mykonos, Rhodes, Patmos and a trip into Turkey, Kusadasi.
Mykonos was an evening trip and, given that it gets dark at 5:00 or 6:00, not much was done here.
Rhode's was the nicest place and we spent all day there.
Rhodesis on the Greece/Turkey border. The Italians own the place from
1850's and they build a summer home for Mussolini and Victor Emmanuel 111. It is called The Palace of the Grand Master.
